When you have to make a decision, it's often difficult to know if you should involve others or go it alone.

Sometimes, it's preferable to lead by example and be authoritative. But, to avoid conflict or making a poor choice, it may be better to consult with your team. 

The Vroom-Yetton Model is designed to help you figure out the best decision-making approach.

How does it work?
You answer several 'yes' or 'no' questions that lead you to a code representing one of five different approaches.

The questions include:

Is the quality of the decision important?
Is the problem well structured?
If you made the decision, would the team support it?
Is conflict likely?

With the help of the Vroom-Yetton Model, you can feel confident in the decisions that you make alone or with your team.
